Conference
of NGOs (CONGO)
in
Consultative Relationship
We are one of the Committees of the Conference of NGOs (CONGO) in Consultative
Relationship to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations
(ECOSOC). The basic mission of CONGO is "to ensure that NGOs in consultative
status enjoy the fullest opportunities and all appropriate facilities
for performing their consultative functions," based on Article 71
of the Charter of the United Nations.
