NGO Sustainability is a non-profit organization in Consultative Status with the United Nations that is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and renewable energy. Our mission is to preserve our Earth for future generations, by empowering citizens and governments to implement sustainable practices and raise awareness.

NGO Sustainability promotes a vision of sustainable development that integrates environmental, economic, and social factors.

In a field as complex as sustainable development, our organization seeks to create an understanding of how the United Nations approaches these three factors to create a unified global goal. NGO Sustainability does this by organizing events in the greater metropolitan area.

 

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are central to the work of NGO Sustainability, focusing on Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG #7) and Climate Action (SDG #13).

 

We represent three United Nations Economic and Social Council accredited organizations: International Solar Energy Society (ISES), Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), and Central and North Pakistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) promoting sustainable development, renewable energy, and the advancement of women. Our main activities include hosting lectures and panel discussions at UN Headquarters in New York, promoting partnerships between UN organizations, NGOs, national governments, academia, and the private sector, posting educational materials to our constituency, and preparing studies on sustainable development with a team of interns, along with implementing small scale renewable energy projects in the developing world.

• A registered 501(c)(3) corporation. Donations are tax-deductible.

• Supported by a selection of accomplished Board of Directors (link).

• Able to provide consultation for both public and private organizations and companies.

• A host of many events at the United Nations and in the greater Metropolitan area, which you can attend as a member
