Hotel Marcel

On August 12, NGO Sustainability toured Hotel Mercel of New Haven, CT.  Originally an office building, it was converted into a hotel from 2020 to 2022. During this conversion, many sustainable features were implemented, such as LEED Platinum Certification, Passive House Certification, Targeting Net Zero Energy, and more.

 

After a detailed presentation, Architect Bruce Redman Becker gave NGO Sustainability's interns a tour of the facility, during which they saw many of these features in action.
